The following information is based on the previous year and is subject to change. More information will be provided toward the end of the year.
Phi Eta Sigma will be awarding 4 scholarships in the amount of $300 each to two Executive Board Members and two General Members. All members are eligible to apply. Scholarships will be awarded based on the following criteria:
- Member’s total credits earned through participation in PES Events and attendance at general meetings.
- Member’s overall GPA – must be at least a 3.0
- Quality of Essay which answers the following questions:
- What benefits have you personally derived from your participation in Phi Eta Sigma?
- What are your plans for future involvement in Phi Eta Sigma?
- How has Phi Eta Sigma helped you develop as a leader?
- Why do you think you are deserving of a Phi Eta Sigma scholarship?
Each year, approximately fifty $1,000 scholarships and twenty-seven $2,000 scholarships are awarded for undergraduate study by the national office. Five $2,000 scholarships are also available for the first year of graduate study. Scholarships will be announced and awarded at the end of year Phi Eta Sigma event/banquet.
